    La Rocheuse takes it name from the rock face upon which the house is built. Here and there the rocks rise from the floor where they have been skilfully incorporated into the décor. La Rocheuse is the ground floor of our ancient stone house. Free access to Wi-Fi.

    “One of those rare finds”, La Rocheuse has been cleverly converted to provide comfortable and attractive accommodation for 2 people wanting a quiet, relaxing holiday in the French countryside. Wooden floors and tasteful decoration along with many original paintings and photographs, give the place a warm and homely feel.     The spacious, eat-in kitchen is fully equipped with full size gas cooker, fridge freezer, automatic washing machine, kettle, toaster etc. There is a generous dining area with space and equipment for entertaining. The sitting room enjoys superb views, there is a settee and two easy chairs plus a study corner with fold down desk. For entertainment there is a supply of books, satellite TV, and a DVD/CD player. The pretty bedroom with its low ceilings and beams looks out onto the timber decked terrace and the hills beyond.  UK socket in the bedroom for phone charging and hair drying.
    The bathroom has a toilet, wash basin and a small bath with shower. All the rooms have electric heating and full insulation ensuring that you stay warm in the winter and cool in the summer. All linen is supplied. If you require a cot or high chair please let us know when you book (there is no charge for this, but we are unable to supply cot linen).

    La Rocheuse is available all year and is perfect for two. There is a superb shaded terrace with views over the Orbieu Gorge, ideal for dining on those warm evenings in the spring, summer or autumn.
    Rocheuse is part of an old building. There is a small step between all rooms, doorways are low; so is the bedroom ceiling.
